Seattle/Boston Indie-Alternative Artist Wyatt Silva goes analog with new EP “Summer Songs”
Seattle, WA- Wyatt Silva is excited to announce his third solo release, “Summer Songs,” dropped on December 31, 2025. The 60’s-folk-rock nostalgic EP features six tracks that explore themes of introspection and coming-of-age anxiety. Summer Songs was recorded on analog tape at Seattle’s Soundhouse Studio where Silva interned for 2 years.
Wanting to create a production quality reminiscent of 60s/70s folk rock, Wyatt was thrilled for the opportunity to record to tape with high-quality old-school equipment and instruments in the studio.
“I really wanted to get that richness and depth that is hard to re-create with digital recordings,” Silva noted.
Tracks like “Sunrise Song” and “Summertime Again” offer playful, upbeat performances with crisp guitar and bass lines and dynamic vocals. The evocative imagery of the lyrics subtly reveal a contemplative anxiety and search for belonging and clarity.
The EP released on Bandcamp and major streaming platforms on New Year’s Eve 2025.
