What I’m up to
I’m at Berklee College of Music in Boston. I’ll be performing with the Voice Department’s Singer’s Night on Nov. 18, 2025, 8pm. The theme is: The music of Queen! If you know me, you know. I might even be dancing. It is open to the public- come on out!
My band Quiet Thyme released three (3) (THREE!!!) albums last year. The music is good. It’s fun, it’s different, it’s real, it includes accordion. You should check it out because we’re getting ready to release some video footage of the writing process.
I am getting ready to release an EP of new solo music! Upbeat, lighthearted- it might make you want to take a drive along the coast with the roof down, shades on, and your hair whipping in the wind.
My original music is featured in a short film by award-winning cinematographer, filmmaker, and fellow YoungArts alum Riley Walsh, including one written for the film. Riley’s work is incredible. I’m excited and proud to be a part of this project: Sea, Swallow Me
I’m in the process of updating my website and social media presence. Check back!
What they’re saying
“Wow, he’s really good!” -Titi Norma
“Jeez, he’s prolific too” -Oscar’s dad Vinnie
“Wyatt just wants to be Wyatt” -Ladies and Gentleman, Oliver Crosby
What else they’re saying
“Wyatt Silva’s classic rock-influenced performance of “Yesterday’s Flame” emanated a stirring, soulful nostalgia, with complex melodic electric guitar riffs that perfectly complemented his emotional vocal delivery. Wyatt’s lyrical mastery reflects a maturity greater than his 16 years of age, with powerful metaphorical imagery that calls to mind late-night reflections, lonely regrets, and introverted melancholia. This rich and bittersweet musical debut is one for the ages, a rare gem that simply can’t be missed.”
Wyatt Silva’s musical and lyrical stylings have been compared to artists such as Jeff Buckley, Tori Amos, Pink Floyd, Tom Waits, Elliott Smith, Radiohead, Father John Misty, and Billy Joel. Take a listen and see for yourself!
Written in 2020-2021 during the throes of the pandemic, Aurora is a genre-bending, sophisticated debut by 16-year-old Wyatt Silva. With musicality and lyrics well beyond his years, Silva artfully weaves Americana, alternative, lounge jazz, blues, funk, anthem, and folk pop into a cohesive story of longing, joy, despair, confusion, and resilience.
You will find your music in this album.
For a quick introductory listen, check out “Lady of Aurora,” “Come Back to Me,” “The Dawn,” “Gold,” “Fire,” and “Yesterday’s Flame.” You’ll be hooked.
Wyatt Silva’s follow-up album, released in 2024, reflects his developing sensibilities and identity as a writer.
Still defying being boxed into a genre, Silva invokes alternative rock, sweet folk ditties, modern doo-wop, and rock pop, with crowd-pleasing singles such as “Am I Dreaming?,” “I Went To Sleep Last Night,” and “Drawing Circles.”
Tomorrow I’ll Say Goodbye also introduces some of Silva’s most emotionally riveting songwriting and vocals in songs such as “As Much as You,” “Unreturned,” and “Place we Called Paradise.”
You will find yourself tapping your toes one minute and gasping with emotion the next.
